TV'Tron
During my years working in the guitar repair business, many customers have asked, "Can you install Filter'Tron™-style pickups into my full-size humbucker cavities without harming my guitar?" Until recently, the answer was always,"No." Now, to meet that demand, I'm proud to introduce the TV'Tron pickup.
The TV'Tron pickup is essentially a TV Classic (Filter'Tron-style) pickup mounted under a traditional humbucker cover. The TV'Tron uses the same size cover and base plate as a standard humbucker, so it can be mounted into any guitar with standard humbucker cavities.
Since the pickup cover is completely enclosed, we use nickel/silver alloy instead of brass to retain as much clarity as possible. The covers are then plated chrome, nickel, or gold. Each
TV'Tron comes with a two conductor shielded hookup wire. If only one
TV'Tron is installed, and is out of phase with the other pickup in your guitar, the problem can easily be eliminated by reversing the lead wires.
If you desire a pickup with more midrange, we offer the TV'Tron Plus. It's wound with a thinner wire, giving you more output and midrange growl.

All TV'Tron and TV'Tron Plus pickups are wax saturated to help eliminate microphonic feedback. Each pickup comes with complete installation instructions.
